Porifera’s technology was developed on beer, one of the most complex liquids to concentrate. Beer is difficult because it contains alcohol, heat- and oxygen-sensitive components, suspended solids, dissolved solids, proteins (to form the head), complex flavors and aromas. We learned how to concentrate beer without compromising taste, aroma, or appearance. Our process and equipment can now fully reproduce all beer brands from 6x concentration. We apply learnings from beer to a variety of delicate products.

We can help you achieve that fresh taste. Without the need for high pressure, our membrane system can process viscous solutions and is able to concentrate cloudy juices and even purees.
Are your customers asking for products with low environmental impact?
Our process can help you reduce environmental impact of your products. By concentrating we reduce shipping and refrigeration because only a fraction of initial weight is transported and stored. The water extracted from the products is clean and can be reused throughout the processing facility.
